About

Magdalena was born and raised in Croatia. She has been painting her entire life, beginning with an early fascination for horses — their movement, presence, and unapologetic honesty shaped her artistic vision. Although she initially pursued a practical education in software engineering, she soon realized her true calling lay in creating art that is meaningful, spiritual, and deeply personal. Returning to painting full-time allowed her to combine a disciplined approach with the freedom to explore emotion, presence, and authenticity on the canvas.

She paints at the intersection of abstraction and realism, using acrylics for expressive, abstract areas and oils for precise, realistic details. She intentionally leaves sections of abstraction open, allowing textures and forms to breathe, creating poetic tension and a sense of presence. “I want each piece to feel alive — a dialogue between the canvas, myself, and those who encounter it.” Her work invites reflection, emotional resonance, and connection, offering viewers a chance to experience honesty and beauty in a deeply personal way.

She works from her studio in Denmark, where each painting is both a spiritual practice and an invitation to connect with collectors. When not painting, she enjoys hiking, training her puppy and spending time with her family and friends. Looking forward, she plans to expand her collection of originals, offer more limited edition prints, continuing to share her vision of authenticity, presence, and emotion with a broader audience.
